Well after the long ride and run of the weekend, I used Monday as the rest day and took the opportunity to get a sports massage in Hoole, which was definitely useful - as it certainly identified my IT Bands were starting to tighten again - so I've worked on those since then. Apart from that the legs were just really heavy!!
I also took the opportunity to start getting the bike prepped for Lanza - and with my new wheels - finally decided on the Mavic Sosmic Cabones - arriving over the weekend, I used some time to finish them off by adding the cassette. I've decided to go for an 11-28 again on the back following last years advice by Wilko to save my legs :0) and certainly think the extra did help.
